Vermont Cheesemakers Festival

Did you know that Vermont is the number one artisanal cheese producing state with the highest number of cheesemakers per capita - yup, over 40 of them!

On July 22nd at the 4th annual Vermont Cheesemakers Festival you can experience, first-hand, Vermonters' passion for making fine cheeses, taste local and fresh foods and wines, and meet the artisans who produce them. Spend a mid-summer day along the shores of Lake Champlain at the historic Shelburne Farms Coach Barn sampling, buying, and learning. There will be 200 cheeses to taste!

In addition to over 80 cheesemakers, wineries, breweries and artisan food producers, the festival will feature tasting seminars, a cooking show and a cheesemaking demo. A limited number of tickets will be sold - and they will go quickly. This event is highlighted on Fodor's list of top New England Food Festivlas. Tickets can be purchase here on the Vermont Cheesemakers Festival website. Get on it!

The Vermont Cheesemakers’ Festival is organized and presented by the Vermont Cheese Council.
